The Kindle 2 was thrilled received as a gift. I rate it about the original Kindle. And 'big and fast to download. Few seconds for each book. I have a check mark against him is the contrast. Needs more contrast and backlight to improve readability. I would be a 4 star, only with this disadvantage.
